What to Expect
Our journey begins with an initial consultation where we'll discuss your vision and requirements, as well as explore my range of packages to ensure a perfect fit. Following our discussion, you'll receive a contract within 1-2 business days.
Once the contract is signed, you'll receive an invoice for the deposit. As the event date approaches, I'll handle all necessary preparations and collaborate closely with you or your coordinator to arrange for the optimal setup of tables and chairs in accordance with your layout preferences.
Here’s how it all unfolds:
I set up at a table during cocktail hour or another high-traffic time.
Guests come up to me, share their name, and I take their reference photo.
I paint each portrait in 10–11 minutes (up to 2 people) using ink and watercolor on cold-pressed paper throughout your reception.
Guests whose portraits are completed by the end of the event can take them home right away.
Any remaining portraits will be finished in my studio and delivered after the event.
You can choose between 4x6" or 5x7" portraits, depending on your event size and style. Each piece is created with care and spontaneity, offering your guests a special, personalized memento that captures the spirit of the celebration.

Package Options
Guest Portraits
Live guest portraits bring a personal and whimsical experience to your celebration. Live portraits are painted in real time over a 4–5 hour period. Depending on event flow, this typically covers 40–50 guests live, with remaining portraits finished in-studio within 4–5 business days. I paint guests during cocktail hour and/or the reception, creating custom ink and watercolor portraits (with no facial features) on cold-pressed paper, each signed and packaged in a protective sleeve with backing board.
This package includes:
Live painting at your event (up to 5 hours)
Up to 50 portraits painted live; remaining finished in-studio and delivered within 4–5 business days
Local travel included within 30 miles of El Paso, IL (mileage beyond billed at the current federal rate)
Styled station signage and setup to guide your guests
Optional Add-Ons:
Portraits mailed directly to guests (shipping fees apply)
Custom border design (design fees apply)
Extended event coverage (hourly rate applies)
Starting Rates:
• 4x6” portraits: $1,400+
• 5x7” portraits: $1,700+
A 30% deposit and signed contract are required to reserve your date.
Guest Portrait “Thank You’s”
Combine the magic of live art with the thoughtfulness of a handwritten thank-you. This unique package includes custom guest portraits created live or in-studio, then mailed directly to your guests after the event as heartfelt thank-you cards.
Each portrait is painted in ink and watercolor on the front of a foldable 4x6" or 5x7" watercolor card, with a small inscription beneath the image — featuring your names, wedding date, or a simple “thank you.” The inside includes a handwritten note from you (or a message you specify), creating a truly personal touch.
This package includes:
On-site painting at your event (up to 5 hours), with remaining portraits completed in-studio
One portrait per guest or couple, up to [insert number]
Handwritten thank-you message of your choice
Direct mailing to guests with envelopes and USPS postage included
Delivery within 2–3 weeks of the event
You’ll provide names, addresses, and your preferred message(s) via a simple spreadsheet template after the event.
Optional Customizations:
Printed monogram or custom design on the card
Color-coordinated borders or envelope liners
Multiple message templates for different guests
Larger quantities or upgraded paper/envelope options
Don’t need live painting at your event? Ask about our Studio Portrait Thank You’s option — the same personalized magic, created entirely from your photo references.

Travel and Cancellation Policy
All travel time is based on the operating state’s current mileage rate. Travel is included within 30 miles of my studio. Your quote will include the travel costs.
If you cancel or if there is an issue and the date is changed I can try to accommodate you; however, if the new date is not available, we can work out a painting set directly to you or the deposit can be returned. Your deposit will be non-refundable if you cancel within 30 days of the event.
